Just squeeze out a piece to the size you want and put it on a hook. This kind is mostly used for freshwater species like trout, other extracts, like shrimp are also available here. Had very good feedback from some people in Europe who rave about the stuff and can't get enough of it. Haven't tried it yet myself but did give salmon roe a go a couple of times and got an amazing response from trout, so no major reason why this isn't just as good or even better because it's tougher than whole roe and should stay on the hook much longer.
