The great thing about this design is the spring-loaded release clip which connects to the main line, by way of a short piece of braided line. Just drop the dispenser to the desired depth then raise the rod tip with one firm stroke and it will open to drop all the contents (usually shrimp). A down point when compared to some of the other stainless steel types is that it can easily be squashed when in a tackle box - the photo of it closed shows that. Diameter - 65mm.
