Well, I'll admit I've done it many times, trying to balance a screwdriver through a spool of fishing line between my feet, only to have it spin off and roll across the floor. This compact product certainly helps avoid those pretty crazy line winding situations and avoids any line twist problems too. Can take up to 120mm diameter, 30mm thick spools. Line tension is adjustable.
